Risen completes Gortheron Challenge and clears OD T2 |

Last night, Risen became only the 4th kin on the server to successfully down Gortheron challenge mode and completing the full OD raid instance in T2. Given the kin lost several of its main raiding members a couple of month ago, this then seemed like it was so far away and would possibly never happen. It just goes to show that all the hard work and commitment from everyone involved has paid off and the kin has finally gotten what it deserves by the complete clearance of the instance and ranks us as still one of the strongest raiding kins on the server. Many thanks to everyone who has helped us get here today, from the longest serving member to the newest recruit. You have all made this possible and long may this success continue. There are now only the Wound and Fear challenge modes to go and these will not be too far away from completion. Once again, keep up the good work. |

On 5th June 2011, Risen successfully cleared the challenge mode quest of the Poison boss in the OD raid. It goes alongside successful kin clearances of Disease and Ivar challenge modes. Wound, Fear and Gortheron challenges wont be too far behind. Great work by everyone involved, not just in that raid, but in all the previous attempts, working out and trying new tactics etc. Keep up the good work. |

 After a tough couple of months with the changing of leadership and several issues with the kin we finally managed through pulling together and team work to down the Lieutenant of Dol Guldur hard mode several weeks ago. We have now managed to kill him with ease since then and RISEN seems to be at a new high. I'd like to thank all members of the kin who took part in the downing and any who had previously participated. Your commitment to the kin is appreciated, despite us going through a rough patch, now let's carry this through into whatever raid comes next. |

 | RISEN have had a rocky start to the Siege of Mirkwood, but we have now reached a turning point. The Lieutenant has been slain in hopefully what will be the first of many successful raids on Barad Guldur. It's been an incredible team effort and now it's all starting to pay off. The downing of The Lieutenant isn't the only good news to report though. Over the last month we have had a large number of new recruits join us and they are (in alphabetical order): Brrisruttis, Emaldiom, Ederssen, Farohelm, Gummerz, Lethewen, Merengues, Nannah, Sarandonian & Stuffi. |
