Encounter Overview Flagit is usually the fourth boss encountered in Dar Narbugud and can be reached by branching right when you reach the crossroads and the continuing straight on at the next junction. The encounter is reasonably simple to master, however everyone needs to concentrate as any single individual can extend the fight longer than required or cause a wipe. Equipment & Consumables The damage during the encounter is almost entirely acid based it is therefor recommended to use at least 3 pieces of the 'tier 1' radiance gear rather than full sets of Dar Narbugud (Tier 2) gear. The gloom inside Dar Narbugud during boss encounters is 160. As with all boss encounters it is recommended to fight with 0 gloom so using radiance armour, hope tokens and 'destiny hope' is advised to reach this ballance of gloom and radiance. The fight is subtley timed in that if you take too long in any of the stages your raid will be too debuffed to finish Flagit off. To counter this to an extent it is advisable to use Improved Scrolls of both Warding and Battle Lore. Debuffs and Buffs At any stage during the fight anyone in the raid can receive the following debuff:
If the player does not move out of the room the debuff will expire allowing Flagit to launch a powerful AoE attack to the entire raid. During the last phase this effect can be deadly as Flagit's damage output continues to increase. At any stage during the fight Flagit's current target can receive any of the following debuffs:
At any stage during the fight and during transitions Flagit can receive the following buff:
During the third stage this buff's duration is reduced to a 5s duration but occurs more frequently. Also any DoTs still ticking on Flagit will be absorbed, but will not heal him the stated 1%. Phase 1 Information During Phase 1 Flagit will receive +20% incomming damage from ranged attacks. Melee attackers will receive the 'Weakened Foe' debuff (pictured) through this phase. It is important to progress through this phase quickly to ensure your tank does not pick up too many debuffs so that they are unable to withstand the damage in the final phase. An alternative strategy is to have your main tank delay his/her entry into the fight until Phase 2, thus by-passing these debuffs.
Phase 2 Information During Phase 2 any healers (Captains, Lore-Masters, Minstrels & Rune-Keepers) and can receive the 'Disheartened Foe' debuff. As with the debuff in Phase 1 it is best to get through the phase as quickly as possible to ensure that the group will still have enough healing output for the final phase where Flagit's damage is increased.
Phase 3 Information During Phase 3 Flagit will continue to buff himself with the 'Enraged' buff (pictured). The longer the phase continues the more of these buffs Flagit will gain. The healing buff which he intermitently receives will also occur more frequently, but will have a much shorter duration of 5 seconds.
